I've been building things on the web for over a decade now. I trained formally in computer science — B.Tech from BGSBU, M.Tech from the University of Kashmir — but most of what I actually use day-to-day, I taught myself by shipping things, breaking them, and shipping them again.
Over the years I've worked across a few different domains, but I keep coming back to the same kind of work: small, focused tools that do one thing really well. Calculators. Reference utilities. Lightweight web apps. The unglamorous, day-to-day software that people actually use.
Most of the modern web is built to capture attention. The tools I make are designed to give it back.
That's the principle behind everything I build. No ads. No trackers. No sign-up walls. Just clean, fast, useful software that respects the user's time. It's what I look for when I use other people's tools, and it's the standard I hold my own work to.
These days I split my time between building my own products (MAP Calculator being the one I'm proudest of), taking on freelance projects with thoughtful clients, and writing clean code in three quiet domains: healthcare reference, financial tools, and productivity utilities.
